This policy describes the current static website. Orders and messages entered through the forms are local demonstrations; a real purchase must be arranged directly with the business.
01. Purpose and scope
NIHARIKA SILK FACTORY respects the importance of clear and responsible information handling. This Privacy Policy describes what happens when you browse our catalogue, select products, complete a demonstration order or use the contact form. It applies to the website’s current static functionality and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
The website has no customer account system, customer database, payment gateway or order-processing backend. Completing a form on this website does not send the entered information to the factory. If you separately contact us by email, that correspondence follows the separate handling described below.
02. Information entered into forms
The order form asks for a full name, email address, house or flat number, area or street, city, state and PIN code. You may also provide a landmark or notes. Product colour and size selections are included in the on-screen order summary so that you can review the intended purchase.
The enquiry form asks for a full name, email address, subject and message. These fields are checked within your browser for completeness and formatting. Please enter only information relevant to the enquiry. Do not include identity documents, passwords, payment credentials or other sensitive information in either form.
03. How the website uses your selections
Product selections are used to display the shopping cart, preserve chosen colours and sizes, calculate illustrative totals and prepare the demonstration checkout. Form information is used to show validation messages and the corresponding local confirmation. It is not used to create a marketing profile.
The storefront does not include a newsletter subscription, targeted advertising, customer reviews or a user registration system. You do not need to provide personal information simply to browse the catalogue or read our policies.
04. Shopping cart and browser storage
The shopping cart is stored on your device using your browser’s local storage. This allows the same browser profile to retain selected products after a page refresh. The cart record contains product identifiers, selected colours and selected sizes. Prices are calculated from the current catalogue.
Local storage is specific to the browser and website origin. Your selection does not automatically synchronise with another browser, phone or computer. Private browsing, storage restrictions, browser clean-up tools or clearing website data may remove the selection or prevent it from being saved.
05. Demonstration order records
After a valid demonstration submission, the browser creates a reference number and saves a basic record locally. The record includes the creation time, selected products, colours, sizes, line prices, total and whether the order started from the cart or a product detail page. The most recent twenty demonstration records are retained.
The application does not persist the name, email address, delivery address, landmark or notes entered in the checkout. A saved reference is not proof that the business received an order. The website provides a local confirmation only, with no shipment or stock reservation created.
06. Contact forms and email correspondence
The website contact form simulates a successful submission and then resets. Its confirmation includes a clear statement that no email or message has been transmitted. If you require a response, use the email link on the Contact Us page or in the footer.
An email link opens your own email application. Sending an email is a separate action under your control. The email services involved may process the sender address, message, attachments and related delivery information. Correspondence received by the business can be used to understand and respond to your enquiry or discuss a separately arranged purchase.
07. Cookies, fonts and hosting
The storefront code does not set advertising cookies or include analytics trackers. Local storage used for the cart and demonstration records is different from a tracking cookie. The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts; requesting these resources may disclose ordinary connection information to that provider.
The hosting platform may also process technical requests, access logs or access-control cookies under its own policies. These infrastructure functions are distinct from our storefront’s forms. This policy does not claim that browsing the internet creates no technical records outside the application.
08. Disclosure and external services
Because the static forms do not transmit their contents, they do not share submitted form details with a courier, payment processor or order database. A real purchase arranged separately may require delivery-related information to be discussed and handled as part of the agreed fulfilment process.
If a separately received enquiry needs to be shared to answer a question or meet an applicable obligation, only information relevant to that purpose should be used. Before any future online submission or service integration is introduced, the website’s privacy information should be updated to explain the changed processing.
09. Retention and removal
Cart data remains in the browser until it is changed, removed, cleared after a cart checkout or deleted through browser settings. Basic demonstration records may remain until they are replaced by newer records or the site’s storage is cleared. Removing browser data does not delete emails you previously sent through a separate email service.
The website does not provide an account-based deletion dashboard. For correspondence held separately by the business, contact us with enough information to identify the enquiry. Any retention needed for a separately accepted purchase or applicable obligations will be considered when handling the request.
10. Security and shared devices
Local storage is not an encrypted customer database. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to view the cart or inspect saved demonstration references. Device extensions, browser autofill and browser recovery features are outside the storefront’s direct control.
Use an appropriate private device when entering information. We do not claim a secure server-side order vault, continuous monitoring, guaranteed recovery or protection against every security risk. If you notice an unexpected disclosure or technical issue, please contact us without including unnecessary sensitive details.
11. Your choices and privacy enquiries
You can browse without submitting a form, remove individual cart items, change product selections or clear this site’s browser data. An unsubmitted form may be discarded by leaving or reloading the page, although your browser may separately offer autofill or restore previously entered information.
For information you have sent separately to the business, you may request clarification, correction or deletion, subject to applicable obligations. Please explain what information or correspondence your request concerns. The team may need reasonable verification before discussing another person’s information.
12. Policy updates and contact
This policy may be revised when the website’s features, external services or business processes change. The revision date displayed on this page identifies the current text. Please review the policy before sharing information or arranging a real purchase.
